MEDIA ALERT Nov 19, 2019:
HUNGER STRIKE BY NATAN “RAMI” AVRAHAM UPDATE: NEW FILING TO ADD CHILDREN TO CIVIL RIGHTS CLAIM & DAMAGE
Property Ordered Sold By Commissioner St. George Against Protest Deprived Children of Housing
Los Angeles, CA, November 19, 2019 --- Natan “Rami” Avraham, a Los Angeles resident of over 30 years, has filed new motions to add his three children to his lawsuit, which is ongoing, as is his hunger strike against CA District Court Judge Sherri Pym. This is based on documents Pym based her rulings on, despite clearly missing vital pages of transcripts from the materials she was given. The courts acknowledged this bizarre clerical mistake, yet the ruling went ahead.
Mr. Avraham will continue his hunger strike, which began in 2017 to protest bias, unconstitutional actions and defamatory statements by then Los Angeles Commissioner / Judge Matthew St. George. Mr. Avraham filed a civil suit for damages in 2018, based on the defamatory statements by St. George, which included comments that Mr. Avraham was a potential terrorist and threat to society. These statements have directly affected his life, his business, and the lives of his children, including the sale of a property on Wooster Ave., which St. George ordered sold without permission and against protest from Mr. Avraham, and which his children resided in.
California District Magistrate Sheri Pym dismissed Avraham’s suit out of hand, despite a formal letter acknowledging St. George’s actions from the Commission on Judicial Performance, which took action on the matter. Pym cancelled the scheduled hearing she herself set without ever seeing this missing evidence, denying Avraham his day in court, financial restitution, and any recourse to fight other than the one he has taken.
“I sincerely hope I will see justice before I see the end of my life,” said Natan Avraham. “The courts have taken so much from me but I would rather die than see this injustice for myself and for my children’s future.”
Natan “Rami” Avraham has dedicated himself to fighting against what he feels is clear judicial bias, intimidation, overreach and slander against his person and attacks on his First Amendment and Civil rights by Commissioner Matthew St. George, and the latest attack on due process and civil rights by Magistrate Sheri Pym. His hunger strike is ongoing, and has continued at the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building and United States Courthouse: 255 East Temple Street Los Angeles, CA 90012-3332.
The original basis for Mr. Avraham’s hunger strike is the unforgivable bias Matthew St. George showcased during divorce hearings when he baselessly accused Mr. Avraham of being a person who was likely to commit mass murder after Avraham put protest placards on his plumbing van. According to the court reporter’s transcript, the following statements were made (from page 10 of the transcript from Sept 3rd, 2015):
“And if he wants to spend his time driving around town, he’s free to do so. He can put a placard up wherever he wants.
But I want him to know this. I am considering having sheriff patrols around my house because people like him are a threat to society. We’ve seen it on the news every day. Everybody says, oh, they are just a little crazy. Yeah, and the next thing you know they get a gun and shoot a lot of people or kill my family.
What am I supposed to do? I’m doing my job. So Mr. Avraham should know that I’m considering getting a sheriff patrol, and should he come anywhere near my house – I’m not telling where I live. I live somewhere in Los Angeles -- If he comes by my house he will be detained and possibly arrested.” – Commissioner Matthew St. George
At no point during the proceedings, nor at any point in his life, did Mr. Avraham make any statements even remotely threatening to anyone.
At the crux of this matter is the irreparable damage done to Mr. Avraham’s reputation and standing, which reflects on his personal life and family name, in addition to losses in the sums of millions from St. George’s orders to sell family properties in Los Angeles. He does not want to see this unfounded statement reflect badly on his three children, nor take monies from their future inheritance.
Mr. Avraham took every possible step to have Commissioner St. George removed from the hearing or to have St. George recuse himself from the case, as he was clearly compromised. His immunity as a judge should be revoked, as he has abused his position and violated Mr. Avraham’s Constitutional rights. However, the LA Supreme Court has officially stated they find nothing wrong with St. George’s shameful actions and statements, and this corruption and protection of their own has continued with the actions of Magistrate Sheri Pym. It appears that the courts have put protection above principle, to avoid having Mr. Avraham’s case on record, and to sanction slanderous statements by a sitting judge.
Avraham will continue his hunger strike until there is an investigation into the ruling of Magistrate Sheri Pym, and a formal acknowledgement of the wrongdoings of the court against Mr. Avraham and his family. That will allow Mr. Avraham to proceed with his civil case in the hopes of repairing his reputation and retrieving the damages for his children.
Mr. Avraham will not stop this fight, and is dedicated to protecting his civil rights in the face of corrupt establishment opposition. He is relying on the media to raise awareness to the public and protect citizens against the abuses of the state.

NATAN “RAMI” AVRAHAM FILES LAWSUIT WITH U.S. DISTRICT COURT NAMING COMMISSIONER MATTHEW ST. GEORGE FOR DEFAMATION DAMAGES (READ SUIT FILING HERE)
Los Angeles, CA, August X, 2017 --- Natan “Rami” Avraham has filed a lawsuit with the U.S. Central District Court against Commissioner / Judge Matthew St. George, The Los Angeles Superior Court, County of Los Angeles and State of California. The complaint has been filed in an effort to recoup damages against Mr. Avraham’s person and business interests, stemming from unfounded and defamatory statements made by St. George while acting as the sitting judge on a divorce hearing for Mr. Avraham and his former wife. Avraham is seeking a jury trail and financial restitution.
Avraham has dedicated himself to fighting against what he feels is clear judicial bias, intimidation, overreach and slander against his person and attacks on his First Amendment and Civil rights by Commissioner Matthew St. George. This latest filing represents as a new path towards justice for Avraham, who has been on a hunger strike outside the Los Angeles Federal Building for 50-plus days. The strike, his second, began on June 5th.
Matthew St. George showcased unforgivable bias during divorce hearings when he baselessly accused Mr. Avraham of being a person who was likely to commit mass murder. According to the court reporter’s transcript, the following statements were made (from page 10 of the transcript from Sept 3rd, 2015):

Following the tirade from the Commissioner, Mr. Avraham’s attorney, Charles M. Green, resigned as plaintiff’s counsel and refused to assist him further in the divorce. This placed Mr. Avraham in the very difficult position of having to act as his own attorney in subsequent hearings.
At no point during the proceedings did Mr. Avraham make any statements even remotely threatening to St. George or his family or anyone else.

Los Angeles, CA, June 1, 2017 --- Natan “Rami” Avraham will begin his second hunger strike at the Los Angeles Federal Building on Wilshire Blvd. on June 5th. Mr. Avraham is fighting to combat judicial intimidation, overreach and slander and attacks on his First Amendment and Civil rights by Commissioner Matthew St. George. This is in regards to LASC Case No. SD027039.
Matthew St. George showcased unforgivable bias during divorce hearings when he baselessly accused Mr. Avraham of being a person who was likely to commit mass murder. This shocking claim was in response to a simple placard Mr. Avraham mounted on his work vehicle, reading:
“JUSTICEFORAVRAHAM.WEEBLY.COM ‘If Commissioner Matthew St. George is not going to follow the law and disqualify himself from my case, I’m going to do my best to enforce the law on him.’”
Upon hearing of Mr. Avraham's public campaign, Judge Matthew St. George stated on the record from Sept 3rd, 2015 <http://justiceforavraham.weebly.com/sept-3-2015.html> :
“But I want him to know this. I am considering having sheriff patrols around my house because people like him are a threat to society. We’ve seen it on the news every day. Everybody says, oh, they are just a little crazy. Yeah, and the next thing you know they get a gun and shoot a lot of people or kill my family.” – Commissioner Matthew St. George.
Mr. Avraham took every possible step to have Commissioner St. George removed from the hearing or to have St. George recuse himself from the cause, as he was clearly compromised. His immunity as a judge should be revoked, as he has abused his position and violated Mr. Avraham’s Constitutional rights. However, the LA Supreme Court has officially stated they find nothing wrong with St. George’s shameful actions and statements, providing tacit agreement with his slander against a citizen with no criminal record.
With no alternative, Mr. Avraham undertook a hunger strike at the Santa Monica Courthouse for 26 days before resting for health reasons. However, he will begin a new hunger strike June 5th at the Federal Building in Los Angeles, as he views this as a federal matter pertaining to his basic rights as a citizen.

Injustice, Judicial Slander and Bias Spurs Hunger Strike at The Santa Monica Courthouse
Natan “Rami” Avraham’s Plight Showcases Deep Issues in California Courts
Los Angeles, CA, March 6, 2017 --- Natan “Rami” Avraham is an Israeli immigrant who has lived and worked in Los Angeles for almost 30 years. Over the past six years he has spent countless thousands of dollars, been deprived of his property, denied fair rulings and been accused of being a terrorist and threat to society by Los Angeles Commissioner Matthew St. George in his own courtroom while ruling on the divorce between Rami Avraham and his wife. St. George became the sitting judge on this case in 2013, replacing Commissioner David J Cowan.
Despite every legal attempt to remove Commissioner St. George due to unfair and clear bias and obtain the lawful right be granted a fair and impartial hearing, Commissioner Mathew St. George remains. With no other recourse, Rami Avraham has committed to a hunger strike to begin March 14th at the Santa Monica Courthouse. The purpose of the hunger strike is to inform the public of his plight, the judicial slander of Commissioner St. George, the cultural racism towards Middle Eastern immigrants, and to spur the Los Angeles County Superior Court to action regarding acknowledgement and payment of the damages incurred due to these unjust and malicious rulings.
“I have lost most of my property, my money and my reputation due to the biased rulings, slander and accusations of Commissioner Matthew St. George,” said Rami Avraham. “I will begin my hunger strike to show our courts that the people of Los Angeles, men and immigrants, will not be treated as second class citizens, left broken without a fight in the face of bias and racism.”
The direct quote taken from official court transcripts from September 3rd, 2015 and demonstrating St. George’s racist slander is as follows:
“…people like him are a threat to society. We’ve seen it on the news every day. Everybody says, oh, they are just a little crazy. Yeah, and the next thing you know they get a gun and shoot a lot of people or kill my family.” – Commissioner Matthew St. George.
Commissioner St. George’s derogatory statement is in response to a simple protest placard mounted on Mr. Avraham’s work vehicle that clearly references the abuse of power exhibited by St. George and legal recourse against it. The placard reads, “JUSTICEFORAVRAHAM.COM ‘If Commissioner Matthew St. George is not going to follow the law and disqualify himself from my case, I’m going to do my best to enforce the law on him.’”
The derogatory statements by Commissioner St. George show clear bias against Mr. Avraham. To label a non-violent Middle Eastern family man with no criminal background as a terrorist and danger to society shows clear lack of impartiality towards Mr. Avraham personally and a racist bias against male immigrants from the Middle East.
Under Commissioner St. George’s rulings (and as a continuation of rulings under previous Commissioner on the hearing David J. Cowan), a pre-existing agreement between the Avrahams to sell their shared properties and jointly share taxes, costs and capital gains was ignored in lieu of favoring the spouse and inventing new legal agreements that were never agreed to by Mr. Avraham in a blatant and disturbing abuse of judicial power. During the course of the hearings:
All of these motions, actions and rulings and others not cited in this document have left Rami Avraham struggling to pay massive bills in addition to his children’s student loans, credit cards, taxes and capital gains taxes on all properties, which were in his name but sold as community resources. He has no money to bring in another lawyer, and no incentive against a biased judge. As such Avraham will begin a hunger strike on March 14th at the Santa Monica Courthouse.

- Despite the judge telling Mr. Avraham’s wife’s lawyer to “remove all boiler plate copy” that wasn’t in their original agreement, it was included and signed off on by Commissioner Cowan, creating new unfavorable terms that would be forced upon Mr. Avraham.
- Included in this new boilerplate language was the order that Mr. Avraham be sanctioned and pay half of his wife’s lawyer fees.
- Also included was that their family home, which was community property and under prior mutual agreement was to not to have been sold, was given to Mrs. Avraham, which Mr. Avraham then was forced to buy back from her.
- During her tenure as resident and sole owner, Mr. Avraham’s spouse missed repeated payments on their house (which Mr. Avraham had vacated while she maintained free residence), resulting in foreclosure. This necessitated additional funding from Mr. Avraham to bring the house out of foreclosure while also damaging his credit.
- Commissioner St. George ordered Mr. Avraham to pay 100% of the mortgage following the foreclosures, half of which was to be repaid to him directly by his spouse and which never occurred.
- Mrs. Avraham’s counsel claimed she had received “Innocent Spouse” classification from the IRS and was immune to taxation on their community properties, despite providing no evidence as such to the court or Mr. Avraham. This claim was taken at face value by the court, leaving all tax responsibility from the sales of any properties solely to Mr. Avraham.
- Mr. Avraham’s spouse was awarded complete control over a jointly owned apartment building on Barrington Ave., including total profits from the proceeds of the sale of that unit.
- Commissioner St. George ordered a community property on Wooster Ave. sold despite objections from both parties and Mr. Avraham’s wife having benefitted from tenant rental payments for many years, half of which were ordered to be paid to Mr. Avraham and which never occurred.
- In response to the protest sign mounted on Avraham’s work vehicle, Commissioner St. George spoke with his attorney Charles Green, telling him he felt physically threatened and that Mr. Avraham should cease his campaign. This off-the-record action, which has been preserved via text message from Mr. Green, institutes a chilling effect upon Rami Avraham’s right to free speech and also led to Mr. Green leaving the case, citing the hearing as “out of control.”
